Earthquakes are caused by movement of the tectonic plates; these are like giant jigsaw pieces that make up the earths crust.
In the earthquake I hid under the table with my sister it was so scary but I knew I would be safe with my mum.

In the Earthquake I hid under the dining room table with my brother and dog. Scarlet got to sleep on my mum’s bed. You have to boil your water before you drink it.
