Earthquake
Earthquakes are caused by movement of the tectonic plates; these are like giant jigsaw pieces that make up the earths crust.
In the earthquake I hid under the table with mysisterit was so scary but Iknew I would be safe with my mum.
When I was at my Dads at some vases fell over and broke. They were Anne's favourite ones. There were big fissures in Dads street and the house got cracks. I was scared and I still am scared but I know I am safe with my mum and we are all sleeping in Mums room. I want it to stop now because its scary.
Would be scary,I have never been in one. Being together is really important. Geoff and I are off to Australia today so will keep an eye on the news. We are all thinking of you. The Aunt :)
I'm glad to hear that you made it safe through the earthquake and that your house has managed to escape a lot of the damage that other houses have had. I see you've done a bit of research on what causes earthquakes, this is definately a good opportunity to learn about them. What's it like not being able to go to school?

ReplyDeleteHey Ben,
ReplyDeleteHope you're not feeling too scared anymore. A friend of mine showed me an interesting Lego thing the other day... remind me to show you on Monday.
