Today Matthew shared his Mihi with us, we were very impressed, ka pai Matthew. Matthew also shared with us his great work with his maths. We were extremely impressed with Matthews science experiment and his explanation on how he carried it out. We are looking forward to Matthew helping us do our Mihi.
Matthew would like to improve on being able to speak more clearly and louder.

Toku Mihi
Here is a format for mihi which we are learning at the moment:
Tena koutou, tena koutou, tena koutou katoa,
Ko Aoraki te maunga (mountain - Mt Cook)
Ko Waimakariri te awa (river)
Ko Clarke toku ingoa whanau (family name)
Ko Noel toku papa (father)
Ko Margaret toku mama (mother)
Ko Rob toku ingoa (my name)
No Otautahi ahau (city - Christchurch)
Ko Fendalton toku kura (School)
No reira.
Tena koutou, tena koutou, tena koutou katoa.
