tongue have taste buds that defect different flavours. Arnold stared at his lunch because he hate his lunch so he said to Carlos " I`ll trade you these terrific fish sticks for that horrible peanut butter sandwich."And Calos said " forget it!" Wanda and Keesha whispered about Ms Frizzles shoes.When it was time to go, everyone came to the bus but Arnold.He was still at the table , daydreaming and eating a bag of Cheesy -Weenies. drive through n this opening to the small intestine ," someone said I wanna go home! But someone else said " but this is educational." and Calos said "does education has to be this messy?" Arnold stomach was strange. The small intestine was a colled up hollow tube.The inner walls of the tube were covered with tiny fingers called villi."In the villi are tiny blood cells. "food molecules are taken into these blood vessels" Ms frizzle. "Once the food is in the blood,it can travel all over the body.[Do you know? the small and large intestines are 6~7 m long. They are curved because when intestines were straight, it`s taller than your body so you might be as tall as a house.Someone talked, "I hope Arnold can see this" and someone else whispered "thats better than waste." Keesha shouted "yeah! It`s so gross!" Blood vessel is another science word.
Blood vessels are tubes that carry blood.They are like pipelines running through your body.Now we were in the blood.but it did not look red."Blood is not a red liquid" explained Ms
Frizzle."Blood is made of cells floating in a clear fluid" Those cells look red rubber saucers!" someone called out."Those are red blood cells." said Ms Frizzle."Red blood cells carry oxygen from the lungs to all the cells of the body." [Do you know? A little more than half of the blood is a yellowish fluid called Plasma. The rest of the blood is made of floating cells.Blood are red because without a microscope, blood looks red because there are so many red blood cells in it!In every
drop of blood there are 250 million red blood cells.] Wanda stared at the cells. Here and there a white blood cell was busy detroying and disease germs. "White blood cells are like soldiers protecting your body" Ms Frizzle explained. [ Do you know? your blood is like a delivery service. It carries food and oxygren to your body`s n cells and waste products away from the cells.] Looking back, we saw a white blood cell chasing after the bus. " We`ll be safer with the red bloods cells,kids" Ms frizzle said. Then they get out of the Arnolds body and then they went home quietly.
