We came up with the start of a rubric for what makes a great photo which we will add to next time we work on photos:
- Focussed - not blurry
- Framed well - another word for this is composed well, ie. not chopped off
- Good lighting - not too light or dark depending on what you want, plus the flash isn't ruining the shot.
- Interesting subject - a photo of something that is actually worth taking a photo of.
- Shooting great photos - in pairs or threes
- Importing photos into iPhoto
- Naming photos using iPhoto
